Crohn’s Disease: Patient Story and Treatment

At 14 years old, Cindy Aton became very thin and very ill. Cindy was diagnosed with crohn’s disease, a painful disease that affected her intestines. When Cindy was 21, the Anton family traveled to Cleveland Clinic where Dr. Victor Fazio and team was waiting for Cindy. Cindy made it through the surgery and went on to study and graduated with her masters degree and got married. Cindy had 15 more surgeries for her crohn’s disease, traveled to Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Faztio for every one of them. They enjoyed the tender care they received at Cleveland Clinic.
