My Journey with Crohn’s Disease

This video is a random compilation of my journey through the struggles and joys, sickness and remission of living with Crohn’s Disease and trying to lead a normal college life. I had my first hospitalization in 5th grade with stomach problems that weren’t diagnosed. Later, the pain and other symptoms developed into an unbearable reality– strings of doctors and dozens of tests… I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease my freshman year of college. Life is a constant battle and sometimes it’s hard to keep fighting but I know that I have the best support ever! The hardest part is that a lot of people don’t understand what I go through and what my disease involves– this video will hopefully help people peak into what normal is for me. I don’t remember the last time I was completely pain-free and it can be hard to get out of bed some mornings. But Jesus never fails to be by my side every second of every day and that gives me unending joy. God is my number one, my family and friends take a close second. All things are possible for those who love Him and that is what keeps me going! Thanks for watching my video!!! Part two will come eventually…
